6.-Religion
Word that comes from the Latin: religio,
religare = to
return to bind.
According to the dictionary it would mean cult to a Divinity, education
on God, "faith" in some Divinity or superior power.
Here I must clarify that around the term religion all type of
cults, worship, faith or beliefs of different type have been added, when in
fact this word is relatively new, in relation to all those old traditions and
human ceremonies.
Originally the word religion does not mean
"adoration", since that type of activity was common from the
beginning of the history. (English = worship)
The word religion represents the historical fact that during the
apogee of the Roman Empire it appeared what "Christianity"
is called that counted on the message or the news of the necessity of:
"to be born again", to appear again, to revive, to return to the
life.
Religion = to return - to reunite.
It was in that time that the humanity began to use the word religion,
to identify, the popular movement that had like Master and Redeemer to Jesus
the Christ, or the Messiah of the people of Israel.
The fundamental base of the "Christianity" is the message
about the acceptance of Jesus the Christ as mediating (medium). With
his help it is possible to the human being once again to be put in contact or
to be reunited with what in our present state we are in practice dead to,
that is to say: God, the Spirit, and the Life.
In order to do this possible, was necessary to sacrifice himself to
prepare the way to the Holy Spirit, that is to say, the personal breath of
God that is the one that executes the will of God and leads the
human being until His own image.
From that time it was left outside the Old Testament (pact)
between God and the humanity and settles down the new one,
because of the human infidelity to fulfil its responsibility in the old one.
God Himself walked, was present in the man Jesus from
Nazareth, to teach us the suitable way to the life, the eternal life that
none and by our own means can reach.
This new doctrine is transformed in the Gospel, word that means:
message, the good news on the Kingdom of God, the hope of the people
of Israel and in conformity with the worship of this one people to
"Yahweh", word that also I am going to examine more ahead. The word
religion does not belong to the Old Testament of the bible, but that
comes from both languages that historically were developed in the
neighbourhoods of the Israel, and that also historically have dominated our
present civilisation until this day. They are the Greek language and the
Latin. The accounting of the present time is directly related to these
historical facts.
The influence of these mentioned civilisations on which we call: the
western and Christian civilisation is concrete and evident.
In practical terms, religion is neither some type of
organisation nor some type of education.
Human Biology is the only discipline that can be associated with
what the word religion represents, since both treats on the Life, although in
different levels. The scientific investigation, as in the case of Biology, it
is not interested in arriving to the truth, but in finding the proofs that
confirms the one or the other theory and that therefore justify its
"belief " or its validity sufficient. And here I have
arrived directly at the term that intimately is bound to which it is
understood by religion, that is to say, belief or faith.
According to the dictionary, belief means action to believe. To believe
means give credence to or to have faith. To have by likely or probable, to
imagine, to be considered, etc. Faith means: confidence, belief, etc.
I am going now to compare what Martin Luther expressed on faith,
in his famous dissertation on the letter to the Romans of the apostle Paul,
of this one way to enter the basic thing of the spiritual factor.
"Faith is not
something similar to an own thought or some desire, as the great majority supposes it. Because, when they see that the
life does not be better in this one way, they are let deceive by the mistake
of the faith is not sufficient, and therefore we must do merits if the human
being wants to be saved or blessed. And this happen because, when they listen
to the gospel, they perceive it in such a way that they themselves grant the
following illusion in their interior: I believe. And they consider this as a
true faith.
But, since this is not nothing else that a
simple thought or human desire that it does not emanate of the most intimate
of the person, then not result in something better and nothing happen in their
lives. Faith is the own participation of God in our person. In
this particular way He transforms us (evolution) and makes
us born again (John. 1:13)
and kills the old Adam in us.
He transforms us into a
totally new human being in the heart, the soul, the senses and all the other
resources and in addition He confers the Holy Spirit to us.
Since, faith is
living, latent, active, powerful something, it is impossible that this
permanently does not do what is good.
The faith does not have
necessity to ask if it is that one is due to act of such-and-such way, but
that before asking, already it has done the adapted thing and permanently is
arranged to continue doing it. But who does not act of this one way does not
have faith. This one walks completely without information and it tries to
suppose what is faith and what it is to make good works, and in the end does
not know what they are, neither the good works nor faith, but speak
arrogantly until the fatigue on this. Faith is the alive and valuable
consolation that we received from God, in such a way that by it we could die
thousand times if outside necessary. And this one consolation and knowledge
in own meat of the grace of God make us without fear before God
and the entire creation, this is the result of the participation of the
Spirit in us".
Faith, in agreement with its use, as much in Jewish or Christian
writings means confidence, a "intimate relation" with somebody
we known well.
During the "Second Part" I will examine more at great length
the specific function of the word faith actually and within the so
called ”religious” atmosphere.
God
Another word that it is too difficult to explain it is the word: God,
something that almost everybody has
its own one "understood" of which it treats.
Its original meaning has become diffuse during many periods of history;
of such form that to come to be nowadays a tremendous problem in our human
relations. It is the cause that engenders more hostility than the own
economy, which is the most important of all our activities in the daily life.
The only thing which still link us to the original significance of this
word, is our permanent necessity of answers to so many questions that we
never have been able to solve by our own means. Our ancestors experienced the
same problem, and they obtained sometimes contacts with which it
demonstrated to know more than they did themselves. This one was
named: God, the one that has capacity, the greater one, the one that really
know, in relation to us who do not know in many senses.
The God expression is a password, a symbol, a denomination that
talks about something specific, that of no way it is the word itself, but
something that everyone must experience in own meat to get to recognise, to
identify.
One of the oldest denominations is the word: él from the old Hebrew that
it is possible to find for example in the words: Israel, Gabriel, Michael,
etc.
Although long before in the history our ancestor has already diverse
"names" to make reference to the one who is God.
Before the old scriptures that narrate the different experiences of
life that many human beings had with God, it was abundance of verbal
traditions, based in specific experiences, events and situations that unite
the entire humanity until this day. Our thoughts cannot do adapted use
of the denomination: God.
Observe the following thing from the book: "Historisk Upplagsbok"

The conception of God:
"Imaginations that there are accumulated in the unconscious on God or that have a divine particularity. According to Sigmund Freud and almost all the last psychoanalyst, is the individual conception on God, a prolongation of "internal representations" that one has become of the father when one was child. According to this theory exists in each human being imaginations models of emotional reaction originated by the relation towards certain people".
All human history is full of diverse "Gods" or idols,
according to the attempt of the human being to be related properly to the
superior powers that can exist. In this way, the human being has tried to
obtain much security and advantages respect to the other peoples and to the
surroundings.
Check your own Dictionary or Encyclopaedia if it is possible
"Philosophy and natural
sciences were created by certain men of old Greece, by that one then were all
these disciplines a single thing. It was the attempt of the philosophers to
find the truths maximum what it led to natural sciences and the experimental
observations. The oldest Greek philosophers, like Thales and Demócritos,
wanted to determine which is the fundamental base of the universal whole
number, and if this one is constant or it is in transformations. The
sophists, like Pitágoras and Gorgias, asked themselves if really the truth
exists, first of all, or if this one only is a question of personal
consideration.
Socrates, probably greatest of all
the Greek philosophers, made prevail that the truth existed and that the
necessity of virtue was an inescapable condition for a lived affluent life.
Their lessons were conserved in writings of their disciple Plato. This thought
that the ideal forms existed separated of the common and ordinary world. The
greater disciple of Plato, Aristotle (who was professor of Alexander the
great one) developed a logical system and began in addition a systematic
study to Biology. He believed in the existence of a creative God. His works
have studied in Western Europe during 2000 years and his opinions have been
accepted without putting them to a doubt".
In the deepest of our thoughts and ideas, there are conserved
rest of the experiences and observations of our ancestors. The same it
happens to the words that we still use to identify or to describe
different things. One of those is the one that talks about God; the word we
know it, but what this one word represents or means is still a great
mystery to the majority of the humankind. The people who have had "contact"
with which it is God have obtained it, thanks to the existence of a
way to do that.
That way is the spirit, word very common in the human history,
but that also historically we have been losing its sense and its meaning,
because of the facts that I am going to analyse in the following chapters.
The spirit is the instrument that contacts the human being with
God, because God is Spirit in his perceivable form.
But also the spirit is something that we must learn to know, to
feel actually, to experiment not in theory but like a phenomenon, in other
words, as a presence, a fact or event. That is to say, like an experience of
life.
To feel the presence of the spirit is the first step to never
again have some doubt on what God is for something. Because God, the Almighty,
creator of the universe, Yahweh of the people of Israel, the one who
is, was and will continue being always the same, Holy, upright, merciful and
good, is the Life in its most pure, completely and perfect form. And
the life is something that we cannot ignore, but on the contrary, is
something that we can get to know more and more, according to the consciousness
that we have of this real life.
The Spirit
I have arrived finally to the central theme of this essay. I start
giving a fast inspection to certain writings that they treat on this one
matter in a generalised affluent form.

Spiritism:
"The Spiritism is almost
one religion based on the conviction that the human soul is immortal. That is
to say, this one survives the death of the physical body and according to
specific circumstances it is possible them living beings to establish contact
with those immortals creatures or spirits (lat.=spiritus).
When it is wanted to contact with the
spirits of dead, the mediation of medium like contact element is used, people
with special talents to do that. This type of belief has existed in all the
cultures and well-known civilisations. In some of them, it has been got to
systematise those contacts, generally under the conduction of some person or
people with special capacities, something that has occupied a very important
position in many religions or movements of sanity."
Soul and Spirit=Astral Body.
"A supposition of which
in the human body lives a double stranger, a power body of the same form and
size that the physical body, surely come from the first attempts of
philosophical activity of ours first ancestors.
Each one of us has been able to state during
the dream, how that mystical copy visit by its own will remote places, and
sometimes even talks with people who long ago that is dead. Our ancestors,
who can well be said did not have greater knowledge of the laws of the
psychology, got without problems to deduce that in the interior of the human
being there was something possible to be moved by his own account.
The belief in this one "something"
has remained until today, and in innumerable writings where it is mentioned,
figure with different names, between which most common they are spirit, soul
and astral body.
Many writers have made use of two or more of
those denominations to determine different inner existences. But in spite of
the many discussions on the matter and with the running of the centuries, on
the internal resources of the human being that are not physical, is still
very difficult to define the difference between soul, spirit and astral body.
In each individual being exists something that feeds it, that vitalises it,
it leads to remove deductions and to work physically and physiologically.
This has taken to determine that the human being consists of a soul. In the
Neo-Platonism it is the soul a copy of the body, but done of one more a
refined matter or, as usually it is said, of a substance with a higher speed
of vibration. (Frequency)
The soul is the room of the spirit and soul
and spirit survives together the death of the physical body. After this one
death it continues seeing his body like a corporal creature, and the earth is
looked like the customary one where it was living in, although everything
seems more beautiful. Houses exist, mount, flowers, books and other types of
things. All these things, like the soul, are done of a substance with more
elevated speed of vibration, and they are possible to be formed or to be
changed of form just by to want it or to wish it. This world that we know is
not only in its sort but all opposite, it is only the first in a line of
spheres or levels. Most important that it indicates the education of the
Neo-Platonism, it is that one go through from the most inferior levels to most
superior, according to the degree of advancement in wisdom and spiritual
qualities. At first one thought that these levels surround to the world, as a
layer on the other. Nowadays it is maintained that all are in the same place
but in different dimensions, that is to say, with different frequencies."
The spirit is in fact the umbilical cord that unites the human
being immediately to God and to the entire existing one, in
real and true form, altogether agreement. And this is thanks to the Life, to
which we belong by the simple fact to be alive. By that reason we are also
spiritual and for that reason contributor of a spiritual process.
The spiritual factor is the dynamic force of the life that leads
all the things until they find their place and they reach a total harmony
altogether.
It is "the natural" element of active transition in the
entire existing one, from its beginning to its consummation. It is the
substance itself that fulfil the objective and the goal of everything what
exists, in the visible and in the invisible plan. The resource or energy that
at last will dominate all in majestic terms.
It is the most intimate secret of the life.
It is the power that contains wisdom and capacity to govern
everything that is alive, the one that is to disposition of the human being
to his observations and senses.
We still count on innumerable questions that are part of which we call:
supernatural, not because they are something that belong another nature, but
by the poor integration of them in our practical life. Thousands of years we
have had to search and to find. Nowadays it would have to be much easier for
us, after so many experiences, to approach us to the truth, that is to say,
to the authenticity, exactitude, to the precision.
What I ask me myself it's if we have obtained it.
My own answer is: rarely.

Ghost and spirits.
"But without counting on the
allegories, exciting romanticism and histories: it agrees the belief in
"ghosts" with the sensible understanding of the reality and the
knowledge on the body, the soul, the life and the death of the modern western
and Christian society? How it is possible that the dead can be appeared
before the living one? And, what is what it has really happened when we say
that we have seen a ghost?
In ours days it is even difficult to imagine
how can be responded these questions, of a satisfactory way. Of all sciences,
it is only the psychiatry the one that has proposed a more or less logical
explanation. It indicates that the ghosts are external signals of
unconscious desires, feelings of culpability that have not been solved
and a confusion of imaginations. "
"Between
all the speculations, it is possible to maintain that the prehistoric human
being lived in a world that, according to his imaginations was
full of spirits. Animistic it is the modern denomination for this type of conception.
And that with the aid of symbols and rites tried to dominate this surrounding
plenty of spirits to survive the dangers that the daily life brought with
itself.
Modern scientists try to understand and to
define the imaginations that the prehistoric man has. It seems to be possible
that the primitive world of imaginations must have counted with thoughts such
as: invisible spirits governs all the natural phenomena. Such spirits vanish
before magical powers and the human being with the aid of adapted magical
formulas, could to itself take control from which it followed one another in
the surrounding, by means of influencing the spirits who participated in
those facts".
I have used two words that are excellent, at this moment, to obtain a
more complete perspective on the spiritual reality, they are integration and
to return to bind (religion). Those words obey to a part of the Life. The
other part, as everybody knows it, are opposition, resistance, that is to
say, to refuse to accept and to obey the fundamental laws of the Life. There
to this aspect we will talk about now, to be able to identify our own
resources and to deduce our position and responsibility in the whole
creation.
The state of consciousness in us is not the result of some
profit of everyone or something that we have obtained, gain or reached
ourselves. The state of consciousness belongs to the wisdom of the
life, of which we have experienced only one small quantity, exactly on
account that we are human beings, on account that we have an organism highly
developed that the Life has formed in its own image and similarity.
For that reason, the state of consciousness it is exactly the
precise moment when different things manage to be understood in our interior,
since then are the human being and the Life in the same
frequency or in affinity.
At the same moment that we begin to turn aside ourselves, to take own
initiatives, or we do not want to continue advancing in our perception, we
left the authentic natural energy that made possible our existence and we
become outside the order and the unit with the Life.
The spirit is the essence of the life, is to say, its interior, the
most intimate of the life itself and the most important ingredient in
our own person.
This ingredient excites and irritates the most intimate counsellor we
have in our person, namely, the thinking system. In this way start a
confrontation among them, a conflict, a dilemma that in the end saddens to
us, although in the unconscious, while we do not learn to identify the spirit
in our inner being.
Mainly this and much more treats the writings known like: Old and New
Testament, "Bible", "The Holy Scriptures" and even "
The Word of God ".
From the first page and to the last it is mentioned in those scriptures
the term spirit and its relation to the human beings. Appropriately it
would be possible to call those writings like "the spiritual factor in
action and through the human history" a process that at these moments is
reaching its more decisive and dramatic phase.
Those writings are not the unique ones that talk about the spiritual
factor, on the contrary. Anywhere in the world and during the entire human
history we are counted with antecedents on the reality and the spiritual
activity, not all the times clear and understandable, but important in spite
of everything. Our present time is not an exception in this one sense. Never
than now the humanity has had so much curiosity on this subject, perhaps on
account that we are accumulated so much knowledge, that at the end and anyway
satisfy ours more intimate necessities and our well-being.
The writings that now I am going to examine, mention and guarantee a
period of time in which God is going to provide in extraordinary form
of its spirit on the entire world, the Spirit of God or the
Holy Spirit. This means that the powerful presence or proximity of God shall
be manifested or perceivable everywhere in the world.
This time have two specific periods: the first was denominated with the
Greek word "kairos" during the years in which the evangelists
lived. That is an era of salvation, a period of redemption or an interval
time before the second decisive period, that all have heard speak sometimes
and that is called "the last days", "the day of the judgement
", etc.
At this moment, we are living precisely between those two periods. This
fact means that still we count with time to the change of attitudes and
evaluations.
Everything what this really means, is something that I am going to look
after in the following lines, with the help of the texts that I have
considered more appropriate for the examination of the spiritual
reality.

6.- Religión.
Palabra que proviene del latín: religio, religare = volver a
ligar.
De acuerdo al diccionario significaría: culto a una Divinidad,
enseñanza sobre Dios, "fe" en alguna Divinidad o poder
superior.
Aquí debo clarificar que al término religión se han añadido todo tipo
de cultos, adoraciones, "fe" o creencias de distinto tipo, cuando
en sí esta palabra es relativamente nueva, en relación a todas esas antiguas
tradiciones y costumbres humanas.
Originalmente la palabra religión no significa ”adoración”, puesto que
ese tipo de actividad fue común desde el principio de la historia. (inglés =
worship)
La palabra religión representa el hecho histórico de que durante el
apogeo del imperio romano apareció aquello que se llama
"cristianismo" que contaba con el mensaje o la noticia de la
necesidad de "nacer de nuevo", renacer, reavivar, volver a la vida,
re =volver - ligión=juntar, unir.
Fue en aquel período de la historia que se empezó a usar la palabra
religión, para identificar dentro del territorio del imperio romano y toda la
costa mediterránea de aquél entonces, lo que profesaba el movimiento popular
que tenía como Maestro y Salvador a Jesús el Cristo, o el Mesías del pueblo
de Israel.
Lo auténticamente esencial del ”cristianismo” es el mensaje de que por
medio de la aceptación de Jesús el Cristo como mediador (medio) se puede uno
de nuevo poner en contacto o religar con aquello que en nuestro estado actual
estamos practicamente muertos, a saber: a Dios, al Espíritu y a
la Vida.
Para hacer esto posible, fue necesario sacrificarse a sí mismo para
preparar el camino al Espíritu Santo, es decir, el aliento personal de
Dios que es el que ejecuta la voluntad de Dios y conduce al ser humano hasta
Su propia imagen.
A partir de ese entonces quedó fuera de vigencia el antiguo testamento
(pacto) entre Dios y la humanidad y se establece el nuevo, a causa de la
infidelidad humana por cumplir su responsabilidad en el antiguo.
Dios mismo caminó, estuvo presente en el hombre Jesús de Nazaret, para
enseñarnos el camino adecuado a la vida, la vida eterna que de ningún modo y
por nuestros propios medios podemos alcanzar.
Esta nueva doctrina se resume en la palabra Evangelio que significa:
mensaje, las buenas noticias sobre el reino de Dios, la esperanza del pueblo
de Israel y en conformidad con la veneraciín de este pueblo a ”Jehová”,
palabra que también voy a examinar más adelante.
La palabra religión no pertenece de ningún modo a lo que conocemos como
el antiguo testamento de la biblia, sino que proviene de los dos idiomas que
históricamente se desarrollaron en las cercanías del pueblo de Israel y que
también históricamente han dominado a nuestra presente civilización hasta
este día, ellos son la cultura y el idioma griego y latino. La contabilidad
del tiempo presente está directamente relacionada con estos hechos
históricos. La influencia de estos tres pueblos mencionados, sobre lo que
llamamos: civilización occidental y cristiana, es concreta y evidente.
En términos prácticos, religión no es ningún tipo de organización ni de
enseñanza.
La biología es la única disciplina que se puede asociar con lo que
representa la palabra religión, ya que ambas tratan sobre la Vida, aunque en
distintos niveles.
La investigación científica, como en el caso de la biología, no está
interesada en llegar a la verdad, sino en encontrar las pruebas suficientes
que confirman la una o la otra teoría y que por consiguiente justifican su
"creencia" o su validez.
Y aquí he llegado directamente al término que está íntimamente ligado a
lo que se entiende por religión, es decir, "creencia" o
"fe".
De acuerdo al diccionario, creencia significa: acción de creer. Lo que
se cree.
Creer significa: tener por cierto, tener "fe". Tener por
verosímil o probable, imaginarse, estimarse, etc
Fe significa: confianza, creencia, etc
De acuerdo a lo que hasta aquí he podido analizar sobre la palabra, lo
mental, el pensamiento, comunicación, inteligencia, etc., voy ahora a
comparar lo que Martín Lutero expresó sobre la fe, en su famosa disertación
sobre la carta a los romanos del apóstol Pablo, para de este modo entrar en
lo básico del factor espiritual.
"La fe no es algo semejante a un pensamiento propio o algún deseo,
como la gran mayoría lo supone. Pues cuando ven que la vida no resulta mejor
de éste modo, ni tampoco haciendo méritos, a pesar de todo lo que el mundo
entero habla y discute sobre la fe, se dejan engañar por la equivocación de
que, la fe no es suficiente, se deben además hacer méritos, si es que uno
quiere llegar a sentirse salvado o justificado.
Y esto se debe a a que, cuando ellos escuchan el evangelio, lo perciben
de tal modo que ellos mismos se conceden la siguiente ilusión en su interior:
"yo creo". Y esto pasa a ser para ellos una fe verdadera.
Pero, ya que esto no es nada más que un simple pensamiento o deseo
humano que no emana de lo más íntimo de la persona, no da ningún resultado ni
nada mejor ocurre en sus vidas.
La fe es la participación de
Dios mismo en nosotros, lo que nos transforma (evolución) y nos hace nacer de
nuevo (Joh. 1:13) y mata al viejo Adán, nos transforma en personas totalmente
nuevas en el corazón, el alma, los sentidos y todos los otros recursos y además
nos confiere el Espíritu Santo.
Ya que, la fe es algo viviente, latente, activo, poderoso, es imposible
que ésta permanentemente no haga lo que es bueno. No tiene necesidad de
preguntar, si es que se debe actuar de tal o cual modo, sino que antes de preguntar,
ya ha hecho lo adecuado y está permanentemente dispuesta a seguir haciéndolo.
Pero quién no actúa de este modo, no tiene fe, anda a ciegas y pretende
suponer lo que es confiar y hacer buenas obras y al final no sabe lo que son,
ni las buenas obras ni la fe, pero habla hasta el cansancio y arrogantemente
sobre esto.
La fe es el vivo y valioso consuelo que recibimos de parte de Dios, de
tal modo que por él podríamos morir mil veces si fuera necesario. Y este
consuelo y conocimiento en carne propia de la gracia de Dios nos hace
felices, francos y sin temor ante Dios y todo lo creado: ésto es el resultado
de la participación del Espíritu en la fe."
La fe, de acuerdo con su utilización, tanto en los escritos
judíos o cristianos se refiere a la confianza, es decir, confidence en
inglés, una ”relación” íntima con alguien o con algo que se conoce bien, que
se tiene a conciencia (en el entendido de conocimiento).
Durante la ”Segunda Parte” examinaré más detenidamente la función
específica de la palabra fe en la práctica y dentro de lo que se puede
denominar: el contexto ”religiöso”
7.- Dios.
No existe otra
palabra más difícil de explicar que la palabra: dios, a pesar
de que casi todo el mundo tiene su propio "entendido" acerca de lo
que se trata.
Su significación
original se ha hecho difusa con el pasar de los tiempos, de tal forma que hoy
en día a venido a ser un tremendo problema en nuestras relaciones humanas.
Es la causa
que ocasiona más enemistad que la propia economía, que es la más importante de
todas nuestras actividades en la vida cotidiana.
Lo único que
todavía nos une a la significación original de esta palabra, es nuestra
permanente necesidad de respuestas a tantas preguntas que jamás hemos podido
resolver por nuestros propios medios. Nuestros antepasados pasaron por lo
mismo, y ellos obtuvieron a veces contactos con alguien que demostró saber más que lo que ellos sabían.
De allí
proviene el término dios: el que tiene poder, capacidad, el primero, el
mayor, el que puede, en relación a nosotros que no sabemos ni podemos en
diversos ámbitos de cosas.
La expresión
Dios es una contraseña, un símbolo, una denominación que
se refiere a algo específico, que de
ninguna manera es la palabra misma "Dios", sino algo que cada cual
debe experimentar en carne propia para llegar a reconocer o identificar.
Una de las
denominaciones más antiguas y que todavía tiene un uso práctico, es la
palabra de los cananeos él que se encuentra por ejemplo en las palabras
Israel, Gabriel, Miguel, etc. aunque mucho antes en la historia ya existían
diversos "nombres" para hacer referencia a aquél que es Dios.
Antes que
existieran las escrituras que nos narran, ante todo sobre las distintas
experiencias de vida que muchos seres humanos tuvieron con Dios, había
abundancia de tradiciones verbales basadas en experiencias específicas,
acontecimientos y situaciones que nos unen históricamente hasta este día.
Nuestros
pensamientos no pueden hacer uso adecuado de la denominación: Dios.
Observese lo
siguiente :
La concepción
de Dios:
"Imaginaciones
que hemos acumulado inconcientemente sobre
Dios o alguien que tiene una particularidad divina.
De acuerdo a
Sigmund Freud y casi todos los últimos sicoanalistas, es la concepción
individual sobre Dios, una prolongación de las "representaciones"
internas que uno se ha hecho del padre cuando era niño.
De acuerdo a
esta teoría existe en cada ser humano imaginaciones och modelos de reacción
emocional originadas por la relación hacia ciertas personas".
Toda la
historia humana está llena de diversos dioses o ídolos, de acuerdo al intento
del ser humano por relacionarse convenientemente con los poderes superiores
que puedan existir y a los cuales se pueda acudir para obtener, tanto
seguridad como también ventajas con respecto a los demás semejantes y al
medio ambiente.

"La
filosofía y las ciencias naturales fueron creadas por ciertos hombres de la
antigua Grecia, por aquél entonces eran todas estas disciplinas una sola
cosa. Fue el intento de los filósofos por encontrar las verdades máximas lo
que los condujo a las ciencias naturales y las observaciones experimentales.
Los más
antiguos filósofos griegos, como Thales y Demócritos, quisieron determinar
cuál es la base fundamental del universo entero y si éste es constante o está
en transformaciones. Los sofistas, como Pitágoras y Gorgias se preguntaban si
realmente existe la verdad, ante todo, o si sólo se trata de una cuestión de
consideración personal.
Sócrates,
probablemente el más grande de todos los filósofos griegos, hizo prevalecer
que la verdad existía y que la necesidad de virtud era una condición
ineludible para una vida bien vivida.
Sus enseñanzas
fueron conservadas en los escritos de su discípulo Platon. Éste creía que las
formas ideales existían separadas del mundo común y ordinario.
El mayor
discípulo de Platón, Aristóteles (que fue profesor de Alejandro el grande)
desarrolló un sistema lógico y empezó además un estudio sistemático de
biología.
El creyó en un
dios creador de lo que existe. Sus trabajos se han estudiado en la Europa
occidental durante 2000 años y sus opiniones han sido aceptadas sin
ponérselas en tela de juicio."
En lo más
profundo de todos nuestros pensamientos, ideas y entendidos hay restos
conservados de las experiencias y observaciones de nuestros antepasados.
Lo mismo
sucede con cada una de las palabras que aún utilizamos para identificar o
describir distintas cosas.
Una de esas es
la que se refiere a Dios, la palabra la conocemos bien, pero lo que esta
palabra representa o significa es todavía, para la mayoría de los seres
humanos, un gran misterio.
Las personas
que han tenido ”contacto” con el que es Dios, lo han logrado, gracias a que
existe un camino con esta finalidad.
Ese camino es
el espíritu, palabra muy común en las relaciones humanas de toda la historia,
pero que también históricamente hemos ido perdiendo su sentido y su
significación, a causa de los hechos que voy a analizar en los capítulos
siguientes.
El espíritu es
el medio que nos contacta con Dios, pues Dios es Espíritu en su forma
perceptible.
Pero también
el espíritu es algo que debemos aprender a conocer, sentir, experimentar no
en teoría sino en la práctica, como un fenómeno, en otras palabras, como una
presencia, un hecho o acontecimiento. Es decir, como una experiencia de vida.
Llegar a
constatar la presencia del espíritu es el primer paso para nunca más tener
duda alguna sobre aquello a lo cual se le denomina Dios.
Pues Dios el
todopoderoso, creador del universo, Jehová del pueblo de Israel,
el que ha sido, es y continuará siendo siempre el mismo, santo, justo,
misericordioso y bueno, es la Vida y la vida es algo que no podemos ignorar,
sino todo lo contrario, es algo que podemos llegar a conocer más y más, de
acuerdo a la conciencia que tengamos de ”ella”.
8.- El
espíritu.
Nos
encontramos ahora en el tema central de este ensayo.
Voy a empezar
dando una rápida mirada a ciertos escritos, que tratan sobre esta materia en
una forma bien generalizada.
Del libro
"Natural y sobrenatural" -Forum -1990.- ( Edición sueca )
Espiritísmo:
"El
espiritísmo es casi una religión basada en el convencimiento de que el alma
humana es inmortal, es decir, ésta sobrevive la muerte del cuerpo físico y de
acuerdo a circunstancias específicas es posible para los seres vivientes
entablar contacto con esas creaturas inmortales o espíritus ( latin=spiritus
).
Cuando se
quiere contactar con los espíritus de los muertos, se utiliza la mediación de
medium como elemento de contacto, personas éstas con talentos especiales.
Este tipo
de creencia ha existido en todas las
culturas y civilizaciones conocidas o no. En algunas de ellas se ha llegado a
sistematizar esos contactos, por lo general bajo la conducción de algún
sanador, vidente o personas con capacidades especiales, algo que ha venido a
ocupar un puesto muy importante en muchas religiones o movimientos de sanidad."
"Alma y
Espíritu =Cuerpo astral.
Supocisiones
de que en el cuepo humano existe un doble desconocido, un cuerpo energético
de la misma forma y tamaño que el cuerpo físico, provienen seguramente de los
primeros intentos de actividad filosófica de nuestros primeros antepasados.
Cada uno de
nosotros ha podido constatar durante el sueño, cómo esa copia mística visita
por su propia voluntad lugares remotos e incluso a veces conversa con
personas que hace mucho están muertas.
Nuestros
antepasados, que bien se puede decir no tenían mayor conocimiento de las
leyes de la sicología, llegaron sin problemas a deducir de que en el interior
del ser humano había algo que se podía mover por su propia cuenta.
La creencia en
éste "algo" ha permanecido hasta el día de hoy, y en los
innumerables escritos donde se menciona, figura con distintos nombres, entre
los cuales los más comunes son espíritu, alma, cuerpo etéreo y cuerpo astral.
Muchos
escritores han hecho uso de dos o más de esas denominaciones para determinar
distintas existencias interiores, pero a pesar de las muchas discusiones al
respecto y al correr de los siglos, sobre los recursos internos del ser
humano que no son físicos es todavía muy difícil definir la diferencia entre
alma, espíritu y cuerpo astral.
En cada
individuo existe algo que lo alimenta, le da vitalidad, lo conduce a sacar
deducciones y a funcionar física y fisiológicamente. Esto ha llevado a determinar que el ser humano consta de un
alma.
En el
neoplatonismo es al alma una copia del cuerpo, pero hecho de una materia más
refinada o, como se suele decir, de una substancia con una velocidad de
vibración más alta. El alma es la habitación del espíritu y alma y espíritu
sobreviven juntos la muerte del cuerpo terrenal. Después de esta muerte
continúa uno viendo a su cuerpo como una creatura corporal y el medio
ambiente se parece al que estabamos acostumbrados a ver en la tierra, aunque
todo parece más hermoso.
Existen casas,
montes, flores, libros, etc. Todas estas cosas, al igual que el alma, están
hechas de una substancia con una velocidad de vibración más elevada, y se
pueden formar o cambiar de forma con sólo quererlo o desearlo.
Este mundo que
conocemos no es el único en su género sino todo lo contrario, sólo el primero
en una larga línea de esferas o niveles. Lo más importante que señala la
enseñanza de los neoplatonistas, es que uno atraviesa desde los niveles más
inferiores hasta los más superiores, de acuerdo al grado de crecimiento en la
sabiduría y en las cualidades espirituales. En un principio se creyó que
estos niveles rodean al mundo, como una capa sobre la otra. Hoy en día se
sostiene que todos están en el mismo lugar pero en distintas dimensiones, es
decir, con distintas frecuencias."
El espíritu
es en realidad el cordón umbilical que nos une a Dios y en seguida a todo lo
existente, en forma real y verdadera, en total concordancia.
Y esto es
gracias a la Vida, a la cual pertenecemos por el simple hecho de estar vivos.
Por ese motivo somos también espirituales y por ello, partícipes de un proceso
espiritual.
El factor
espiritual es la fuerza dinámica de la vida que conduce todas las cosas hasta
que éstas encuentren su lugar y alcancen una total armonía con el resto.
Es el elemento
"natural" de transición activo en todo lo existente, desde su orígen
y hasta su consumación.
Es la
substancia en sí que cumple el sentido y la meta de todo lo que existe, en lo
visible y en lo invisible.
El recurso o
energía que está dominando en términos majestuosos sobre todo lo que impide o
niega su soberanía, poder y superioridad.
Es el secreto
más íntimo de la vida.
Es el poder
que contiene sabiduría y capacidad para gobernar sobre la vida entera que
está a disposición para nuestras observaciones y también para aquello que no
está al alcance de nuestros sentidos.
Contamos aún
con innumerables interrogantes que son parte de lo que llamamos: sobrenatural, no porque así
lo sean, sino por la carencia de integración de ellas en nuestra vida
práctica.
Miles de años
hemos tenido para buscar y encontrar. Hoy en día tendría que ser mucho más
fácil para nosotros, después de tantas experiencias, acercarnos a la verdad,
es decir, a la autenticidad, exactitud, precisión.
Lo que me
pregunto es: ¿Lo hemos logrado?
Mi respuesta
es: apenas.

"Fantasmas
y espíritus"
"Pero sin
contar con las alegorías, romanticismo e historias apasionantes: ¿Concuerda
la creencia en "fantasmas" con el entendimiento sensato de la
realidad y los conocimientos sobre el cuerpo, alma, vida y muerte de la
sociedad moderna occidental y cristiana?
¿Cómo es
posible que los muertos se puedan aparecer ante los vivos? Y, ¿Qué es lo que
realmente ha sucedido cuando decimos que hemos visto un fantasma? Incluso en
nuestros días es difícil imaginarse como pueden ser respondidas esas
preguntas, de un modo satisfactorio.
De todas las
ciencias, es sólo la siquiatría la que ha propuesto una aclaración más o
menos lógica. Esta indica que los fantasmas son señales externas de deseos inconcientes,
sentimientos de culpabilidad que no han sido resueltos y una confusión de
imaginaciones."
"Entre
todas las especulaciones, se puede sostener que el ser humano prehistórico
vivvió en un mundo que, de acuerdo a sus imaginaciones estaba lleno de espíritus--animista
es la moderna denominación para este tipo de concepción -- y que con la ayuda
de símbolos y ritos intentaron dominar este medio ambiente lleno de
espíritus, para de alguna manera sobrevivir los peligros que la vida
cotidiana traía consigo.
Científicos
modernos han intentado entender y definir las imaginaciones que para el
hombre prehistórico deben haber sido claras y sencillas. Parece ser posible
que ese primitivo mundo de imaginaciones debe haber contado con pensamientos
tales como, todos los fenómenos naturales son gobernados por espíritus
invisibles, tales espíritus se desvanecen ante poderes mágicos y el ser
humano con la ayuda de fórmulas mágicas adecuadas podía a sí mismo a veces
tomar control de lo que se sucedía en el medio ambiente, por medio de influir
en los espíritus que participaban en esos hechos."
He usado dos
palabras que son relevantes, en este instante, para lograr un cuadro más
completo sobre la realidad espiritual, ellas son: integración y volver
a ligar (religión).
Esas palabras
obedecen a una parte de la Vida. La otra parte, como todo el mundo lo
sabe, consta de oposición, resistencia, es decir, negarse a
aceptar y obedecer las leyes fundamentales de la Vida. A éste aspecto me referiré ahora, para poder
identificarnos a nosotros mismos y deducir de allí nuestro papel o
responsabilidad en la creación entera.
El estado de
conciencia en nosotros no es de ningún modo el resultado de algún logro de
cada cual o ganancia que hemos obtenido o alcanzado con nuestros propios medios,
sino que pertenece a la experiencia de la vida misma o sabiduría, de la cual
hemos experimentado tan sólo una pequeña parte, justamente a causa de que
somos seres humanos, a causa de que contamos con un organismo altamente
desarrollado que la Vida ha formado en su propia imagen y semejanza.
Por ello es
que justamente, el estado de conciencia es el instante preciso cuando
distintas cosas logran ser entendidas en nuestro interior, ya que en ese
momento se encuentran la Vida y nosotros en la misma frecuencia.
En el momento
mismo que empezamos a desviarnos y a "jugar" con aquello que hemos
aprendido, a tomar iniciativas propias con lo uno y lo otro, o no queremos
seguir avanzando en nuestra percepción, o quedamos estancados en aquello nos
llama más la atención, abandonamos la auténtica energía natural que
posibilitó nuestra existencia y quedamos fuera del orden y de la unidad con
la Vida.
El espíritu es
la esencia misma de la vida, es decir., su interior, lo más íntimo de sí. En
otras palabras, el ingrediente más importante que está presente en nuestro
propio ser humano. Este ingrediente excita e irrita al más íntimo consejero
de ”nuestra vida” o alma, es decir, a nuestro sistema pensante, de tal
modo que se origina una confrontación entre ellos, un conflicto, un dilema
que al final nos entristece, aunque en estado de inconciencia, mientras no
aprendemos a identificar el espíritu en nuestro ser interior.
Sobre todo
esto y mucho más tratan las escrituras conocidas como: Antiguo y Nuevo
Testamento, "Biblia", "Sagradas Escrituras" e
incluso como la "Palabra de Dios".
Desde la
primera página y hasta la última se nombre y se trata sobre el término
espíritu y su relación con los seres humanos, de tal modo que apropiadamente
se podría llamar a esos escritos como: "el factor espiritual en acción y
a través de la historia humana"; un proceso que en estos instantes está
alcanzando su face más decisiva y dramática.
Esos escritos
no son los únicos que se refieren al factor espiritual, por el contrario.
En todo el
mundo y durante toda la historia hemos contado con antecedentes sobre la
realidad y la actividad espiritual, no todas las veces claros y entendibles,
pero importantes a pesar de todo. Nuestro tiempo actual no es ninguna
excepción en este sentido. Nunca como ahora la humanidad ha tenido tanta
curiosidad sobre este tema, quizás a causa de que hemos acumulado tanto
conocimiento, que al final de cuentas y de todos modos no satisface nuestras
más íntimas necesidades y nuestro bienestar.
Los escritos
que ahora voy a examinar, mencionan y garantizan un período de tiempo en el
cual Dios va a proveer o deramar en forma extraordinaria de su espíritu sobre
el mundo entero, el Espíritu de Dios o el Espíritu Santo. Esto significa que
la poderosa y activa presencia o cercanía de Dios va a ser manifiesta o
perceptible en todo el mundo. Este tiempo consta de dos períodos específicos:
el primero fue denominado durante el tiempo en que vivieron los evangelistas,
con la palabra griega ”kairos”, que significa = una era de salvación, un período
de redención o un intervalo antes del segundo período decisivo, del cual
todos han oído hablar alguna vez y al que se llama ”los últimos días” , ”el
día del juicio”, "el juicio final" etc.
En este
momento nos encontramos entre esos dos períodos, es decir, aún contamos con
tiempo para la consideración y el cambio de actitud.
Todo lo que
esto realmente significa es algo que voy a tratar en las siguientes líneas,
con la ayuda de los textos que he considerado más apropiados para el examen
del factor espiritual en la segunda parte de este ensayo que analiza
lo espiritual en específico, de acuerdo a las escrituras bíblicas y a la
propia experiencia personal del autor de este escrito.
